Set up the Phantom wallet, put SOL in it, swap a little SOL for ETHOS, and claim your welcome gift. Written for someone who has never done any of this.
In plain words
A wallet is an app that holds your crypto for you — and only you. There is no bank in the middle. Phantom is the wallet app this guide uses, because it is made for Solana. SOL is the money the Solana network runs on: every move costs a tiny bit of SOL, usually a few cents, so your wallet always needs a little. Setting Phantom up takes about five minutes.
Phantom will show you a short list of secret words, called your recovery phrase. Those words ARE your wallet. Write them on paper. Keep the paper somewhere safe. Never type the words into a website, and never tell them to any person — not us, not anyone.
Anyone who has those words can empty your wallet, and nobody can undo it. Anyone asking for them is trying to rob you. Project PAW will never ask for your recovery phrase, ever.
On your phone, open your app store and search for Phantom (made by Phantom Technologies), or type phantom.app into your browser yourself and follow its links. Type the address yourself — never tap a Phantom link inside a message someone sent you. Look-alike apps and sites exist to steal wallets.
PHANTOM.APP →Open Phantom and choose Create a new wallet. When it shows your recovery phrase, stop and do Step 1 for real: paper, pen, safe place. Then confirm the words the way the app asks, and set a password or fingerprint for the app itself.
Your address is a public string of letters and numbers. It tells people where to send things to your wallet — like an email address, but for crypto. It is safe to share: nobody can take anything out of your wallet with only the address.
In Phantom, tap Receive, then Solana. That string is your address. You will use it in the next steps — and at the end of this guide, to claim your welcome gift.
Two doors, same room:
Door 1 — buy inside Phantom. Tap Buy, choose Solana, and pay with a card through Phantom's payment partner. The app walks you through it.
Door 2 — buy in Wealthsimple and send it over. If you are Canadian, Guide A walks you through buying SOL in Wealthsimple and sending it to the address you found in Step 4.
GUIDE A — THE CANADIAN WAY →A swap is exactly what it sounds like: trading one token for another. pump.fun is the website where ETHOS is bought and sold. Here is the whole move:
1. Open pump.fun in Phantom's built-in browser, or in your regular browser and tap Connect Wallet, choose Phantom, and approve the connection. (Connecting lets the site see your address; it cannot move anything without your approval on each trade.)
2. Search for ETHOS by its token address — copy this exact string and paste it in. Always use the address from this page: look-alike tokens with the same name exist.

3. Choose a small amount of SOL to swap. Leave a little SOL unspent — every move on Solana costs a few cents of SOL, and a wallet with zero SOL cannot move anything at all.
4. Tap swap, and approve it in Phantom. Done — your ETHOS now shows in your Phantom wallet.
ETHOS ON PUMP.FUN →Last step. The welcome form asks four things: who invited you (leave it blank if nobody did — and if you came from someone's invite link, their name is already filled in), your wallet address (Step 4), your email, and your X handle — your name on X, like @yourname. Fill it in and we will send a small gift of ETHOS to that address. Gifts go out in batches, by hand, so yours may take a little time to arrive.
THE WELCOME GIFT FORM →That's the whole journey
Wallet set up, SOL in hand, ETHOS swapped, gift claimed. Welcome to Project PAW.
